CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda is designed for the purpose of expediting issues considered to be of a routine or pro forma nature such that the Council determines is not necessary to discuss and vote on each item separately. Adopt a resolution in appreciation to Dr. Anthony Catanese for his service and leadership as President of Florida Atlantic University £ Adopt a resolution supporting the decision of the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County to restore the historic 1916 Palm Beach County Courthouse g. Adopt a resolution authorizing an amendment to the plat of Harbour Isles to subdivide all of Lot 104 into Lots 103 and 105 of Harbour Isles h. Adopt a resolution authorizing the release of a seven-foot wide utility easement shown on Lot 104 of the Plat of Harbour Isles recorded in Plat Book 86, Pages 111 through 121, inclusive, of the Public Records of Palm Beach County i. Adopt a resolution authorizing a Consent to Assignment to Employers Mutual, Inc. (EMI) for administration contract for services dated May 22, 1997 between the Village of North Palm Beach and McCreary Corporation, as Administrator. j. Adopt a resolution authorizing an agreement with Land Research Management, Inc. for the purpose of conducting an analysis of the proposed annexation areas of Lost Tree Village, Portage Landing and Hidden Key; and to determine ownership percentage of land in annexation areas owned by registered electors k. BILL 1059 -CODE AMENDMENT -PERMITTED TEMPORARY SIGNS Consider a motion to approve first reading of Bill 1059, a proposed ordinance amending Subsection (D), 6- 114, Permitted Temporary Signs, of Article V, Signs and Outdoor Displays, of Chapter 6 of the Code, regulating the display of temporary permitted signs. ACTION 2 REGULAR SESSION AGENDA -THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 2002 b. BILL 1060 -BUDGET AMENDMENT -LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT. Consider a motion to approve first reading of Bill 1060, a proposed ordinance amending the General Fund budget for Fiscal Year 2001-2002 to appropriate funds in the amount of $11,163.00 for law enforcement overtime pay, of which $10,000 is reimbursable. ADJOURNMENT Next Ordinance 10-2002 Next Resolution 21-2002 If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the Village Council meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature of governmental duties and responsibilities, the Village Council reserves the right to make additions to, or deletions from, the items contained in this agenda. 3
