AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 41 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH CODE BY AMENDING
LANDSCAPING REQUIREMENTS SO THAT IN DISTANCES WHERE ONE TREE IS REQUIREll
FOR A CERTAIN NUMBER OF LINEAL FEET, THE LOCATION OF SAID TREES MAY BE
' ANYW}fERE WITHIN THE GIVEN AREA AND NEED NOT BE AT EQUAL INTERVALS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 41-18(4) of the Village of North Palm Beach
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(4) Trees. "Trees" shall be defined as self-supporting
woody plants of species which normally grow to an overall
height of a minimum of fifteen feet in this area or this
county. Requirements in this Chapter to include one tree for
a certain number of lineal feet as part of the landscaping
are set forth to determine the number of trees required in
a given area, the location of which trees may be anywhere
within the strip of land and need not be placed at equal
intervals t}~roughout said strip of land."
Section Z. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
