AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING YARD SPACE REGULATIONS IN ZONING DISTRICT R-3 FOR WATERFRONT
LOTS AND LOTS ON STREETS INTERSECTING U. S. HIGHWAY ONE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEAC}i,
FLORIDA
Section 1. Section 45-30 (D) of the Village of North Palm Beach
Code is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 4 to read as follows:
45-30 (D) 4. YARD SPACE REGULATIONS
(a) On corner lots intersecting U. S. Highway No. 1
where the front of the building is on the intersecting
street and the side yard of the building is on U. S.
Highway No. 1, the minimum side yard setback on U. S.
Highway No. 1 shall be one hundred feet measured from
the street line to the side building line, and only
for structures in excess of twenty stories in height
shall five feet be added to the required. side yard
for each story added to the building in excess of
twenty.
(b) On lots bordering the established Bulkhead Line,
the Intracoastal Waterway Line or any existing bulk-
' head, the maximum required rear yard and side yard
setbacks shall be twenty feet from the established
Bulkhead Line, Intracoastal Waterway Line or existing
bulkhead, whichever is closest in distance to the
building line; provided., however, that said Bulkhead
Line, Intracoastal Waterway Line or existing bulkhead
is at least five hundred feet from the opposite Bulk-
head Line ,'Intracoastal Waterway Line or existing
bulkhead, whichever is closest.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
