Members of the public who wish to speak on any item listed on the Regular Session or Workshop Session

PUBLIC HEARING AND 2ND READING OF AD VALOREM TAX MILLAGE RATE ORDINANCE

a. Attorney reads title of Ordinance 2010-13, establishing and adopting an ad valorem tax
millage rate for the fiscal year commencing 10/1/10 and ending 9/30/11.
b. Attorney reads title of Ordinance 2010-14, adopting a budget for the fiscal year commencing
10/1/10 and ending 9/30/11.
c. Motion to adopt and enact Ordinance 2010-13 (Millage) on second reading.
d. Motion to adopt and enact Ordinance 2010-14 (Budget) on second reading.
e. Staff presentation on both ad valorem tax millage rate and budget.
f. Open Public Hearing on both ad valorem tax millage rate and budget.
g. Public Comment.
h. Close Public Hearing on both ad valorem tax millage rate and budget.

AMENDMENT 10-1.1
Consider a motion to adopt on first reading Ordinance 2010-15, a
proposed ordinance adopting Amendment 10-1.1 to the Village Comprehensive Plan to amend
the future land use designation of a 1.53 acre parcel of property located in the northeast
quadrant of the intersection of U.S. Highway 1 and the Earman River (Denny’s Restaurant)
from Other High Density Residential to Commercial.

AMENDMENT 10-1.2
Consider a motion to adopt on first reading Ordinance 2010-16, a
proposed ordinance adopting Amendment 10-1.2 to the Village Comprehensive Plan to
amend the future land use designations of two parcels of property located at the northwest
corner of Prosperity Farms Road and Pelican Way West and one parcel located at the
southwest corner of Westwind Drive and Pelican Way West from Other Public Facilities to
Low Density Residential.

FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE 2010-17 – SMALL-SCALE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

AMENDMENT 10-2.1
Consider a motion to adopt on first reading Ordinance 2010-17, a
proposed ordinance adopting Amendment 10-2.1 to the Village Comprehensive Plan to amend
the future land use designation of a 1.71 acre parcel of property located at the southeast corner of
Richard Road and Old Dixie Highway (Western Annexation 1) from the County Commercial
High/5 land use classification to the Village Light Industrial land use classification.

FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE 2010-18 – VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION
5. Consider a motion
to adopt on first reading Ordinance 2010-18, a proposed ordinance annexing seven parcels of
property totaling 4.64 acres located north of Richard Road and west of the F.E.C. Railroad
right-of-way within the Village’s Future Annexation Area 4.

AMENDMENT 10-2.2
Consider a motion to adopt on first reading Ordinance 2010-19, a
proposed ordinance adopting Amendment 10-2.2 to the Village Comprehensive Plan to amend
the future land use designation of seven parcels of property totaling 4.64 acres and located
north of Richard Road and west of the F.E.C. Railroad right-of-way (Western Annexation 2)
from the County Commercial High/5 and Residential 8 land use classifications to the Village
Light Industrial land use classification.

Consider a motion to adopt on
first reading Ordinance 2010-20, a proposed ordinance modifying the conditions for annexation of
Live Oak Plaza and extending the deadline relating to signage

The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or
pro-forma nature. Councilmen may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically
convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote.

evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105). In accordance with the Americans with

contact the Village Clerk’s Office at 841-3355 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting date.
This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature
of governmental duties and responsibilities, the Village Council reserves the right to make additions to, or
deletions from, the items contained in this agenda.
