AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
SF,TTING FORTH THE PLANNED USE OF FUNDS RECEIVED UNDER THE STATE AND
LOCAL FISCAL ASSISTANCE ACT OF 1972, INCLUDING AN ESTIMATE OF INCOME
TO BE RECEIVED AND THE SPECIFIC AMOUNTS AND PURPOSES FOR W}{IC}f THE
VILLAGE INTENDS TO SPEND THE FUNDS W}}ICH IT EXPECTS TO RECEIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village of North Palm Beach has received the
sum of $43,672.00 from the State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972,
Title I of Public Law 91-512, approved October 20, 1972, for the first
two Entitlement Periods ending December 31, 1972 and expects to receive the
Burn of $26,498.00 by virtue of said Act for the third Entitlement Period
ending June 30, 1973.
Section 2. The Village of North Palm Beach intends to spend
' the following specific amounts for the purposes set forth next to the
amounts for the first two Entitlement Periods, and said amounts are hereby
appropriated. for said purposes:
Traffic Control Signal at North
Anchorage Drive and U. S. Highway
No. 1 $16,000
Traffic Control Signal at South
Anchorage Drive and U. S. Highway
No. 1 $16,000
Civic Center $11,672
Section 3. The Village of North Palm Beach, Florida intends
to spend the following specific amounts for the purposes set forth next
to the amounts for the third Entitlement Period, and said amounts are
}~ereby appropriated for said purposes: .
Pedestrian Bridge over the Earman
River from Southwind Drive to
Anchorage Drive, including
approach, rails, etc. $26,498
Section 4. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to submit to the Secretary of the Treasury the Planned Use
Report required under the Federal Act referred to above.
Section 5. The Town Clerk has published a copy of the Planned
' Use Keport in the Palm Beach Post, and has advised all the news media with-
in the geographic area of the Village of North Palm Beach of its Planned
Use Report and has provided copies thereof to those radio and television
stations and newspapers which requested same.
Section 6. A copy of the Planned Use Report and the information
supporting said report has been available for public inspection at the
office of the Village Clerk, Village Hall, North Palm Beach, Florida be-
tween the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday of each
week since May 10, 1973.
