AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
LEVYING A TAX ON REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER
' 31, 1971, FIXING THE TOTAL VALUATION THEREON AND THE TAX MILEAGE RATE
THEREON FOR SAID YEAR; ADOPTING A FISCAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
NOVEMBER 1, 1971 TO OCTOBER 31, 1972, INCLUSIVE, FOR THE GENERAL GOVERN-
MENT AND DEBT SERVICE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH AND FOR THE
PARTICULAR USE OF THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB; APPROPRIATING
FUNDS FOR EXPENDITURES AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH
THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PAIr1 BEACI{,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That for the year ending December 31, 1971 the
valuation of all real and personal property within the Village of North
' Palm Beach, excluding property owned by the Village of North Palm Beach,
Palm Beach County, State of Florida, and those properties exempted by
State, County or Village laws and ordinances, is hereby determined to be
and is fixed as follows:

' Section 2. For the year ending December 31, 1971 a tax of
8.7 mills on the dollar shall be and is hereby levied, and shall be
collected on all real and personal property within the Village of
North Palm Beach, not specifically designated as homestead property or
owned by the Municipality and/or expressly exempted by the laws and
Constitution of Florida, for the purpose of raising funds for the improvement
and government of the Village, and for the payment of its obligations
and expenses and for the purpose of carrying out the purposes and duties
' granted and imposed by its charter: Which is a tax of 8.7 mills that
shall be and is hereby levied and shall be collected on all real and
personal property as set forth in above Section 1, less homestead,
widows', disability and other exemptions, for the purpose of raising
funds for the payment of the General Government Fund, Debt Service Fund
and North Palm Beach Country Club Fund purposes for the Village of North
Palm Beach, and is set forth hereafter in budget form.
Section 3. That for the fiscal year ending October 31, 1972,
revenues for the General Government Fund and Debt Service Fund of the
Village are anticipated as set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto entitled

Section 5. That for the fiscal year ending October 31, 1972,
revenues for the North Palm Beach Country Club are anticipated as set forth
on Exhibit C attached hereto entitled T'The Village of North Palm Beach,
Florida, Country Club, Statement of Estimated Revenue 1971-72" and by
reference made a part hereof.
Section 6. That for the fiscal year ending October 31, 1972
the expenditures for the North Palm Beach Country Club are hereby
appropriated as set forth on Exhibit D attached hereto as Village of

North Palm Reach Country Club Budget for the Fiscal Year 1971-72 con-
sisting of Pages through both inclusive, which Exhibit is by
reference made a part of this Ordinance.
Section 7. A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be delivered
by the Village Clerk to the Tax Assessor together with the tax assessment
roll as equalized, and the Tax Assessor shall then proceed to assess and
extend the taxes on the tax assessment roll according to and in the
proportion to the valuation entered therein; when this has been done, the
Tax Assessor shall deliver the roll to the Village Clerk who shall
certify and deliver same, or a copy thereof, to the Tax Collector and the
latter shall, beginning November 1, 1971, proceed in the manner provided
by law to collect and receive said taxes.
Section 8. A statement of calculations for the tax levy of 8.7
mills for the fiscal year ending October 31, 1972 is set forth on Exhibit
E which is attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof.
Section 9. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
' with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
