Mayor Pierman called the Workshop Session to order at 8:35 p.m.
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning a Mutual Aid Agreement between
the Village and Northern Palm Beach County Municipalities for
Fire and EMS services. This item will be placed on the Regular
Session Agenda of May 25, 1989.
A discussion was held concerning review of the restaurant/lounge
contract between the Village and Jongeneel and Jansen, Inc. The
Village Manager and the Village Attorney will work on this
contract and bring it back to Council at a future date.
A discussion was held concerning golf course use policy for
' certain Village employees. The Village Manager will rework this
policy and bring it back to Council at a future workshop.
A discussion was held concerning the annexation petition received
from residents of Robalo Court. Council instructed the Village
Manager to proceed with the annexation of this area which is in
Palm Beach County at the present time.
A discussion was held concerning bathrooms on the North Palm
Beach Country Club golf course. Council instructed the Village
Manager to have these bathrooms brought up to par while
renovation of the golf course is in progress.

The item concerning a contribution offer from Gene Bates to ITEM RE ST. CLARE
refurbish the soccer field at St. Clare's school was removed from SOCCER FIELD
the agenda. Mr. Bates withdrew his offer because he did not REMOVED FROM
agree to the terms and conditions outlined in Mr. Kelly's AGENDA
memorandum to the Mayor and Village Council dated April 21,
1989.
A discussion was held concerning July Fourth activities. These
activities will be held in conjunction with Palm Beach Gardens
and the Gardens Mall this year. This item will be placed on the
' May 25, 1989 regular session agenda.
A discussion was held concerning a request from Jacqueline Town,
Village resident, for contract to videotape the golf course
renovation. Council concurred that it is too late to videotape
the course because too much work has already been done.
Therefore, they unanimously concurred not to approve the contract
with Ms. Town.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 10:25 p.m.
