THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 1989

Mayor Mundt called the hbrkshop Session to order at 9:00 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council and the staff wire present.
Lew Sczuggs, Department of Natural Resources, Tallahassee, gave MacARTHUR BEACH
a status report on the development of MacArthur Beach State Park STATE PARK
He asked the Village Council for a two-year extension for trailer
housing and septic tanks at the park. It was the consensus of
Council that the Village of North Palm Beach had already granted
two extensions for this purpose and they are opposed to grantirg
an additional extension for any period of time. Mr. Scnaggs said
he would discuss this with his superiors and will appear again at
Council's regular session of Thursday, February 23, 1989.
A discussion was held concerning a proposed resolution granting a UTILITY EASE-
12 foot utility easement to Florida Public Utilities for a MENT - FLORIDA
natural gas line to serve the North Palm Beach Country Club PUBLIC UTILITIES
,
clubhouse and pool. This item will appear on the Regular Session
agenda of February 23, 1989.
A discussion was held concerning Dick Cavanah taking over the COUNTRY CLUB
summer operation of the snack bar at the North Palm Beach Oountry SNACK BAR
Club. Mr. Cavanah is to structure a plan with C. J. Van
Schaffelaar, have it approved by our Village Attorney, and bring
it back to Council at a future date.
A discussion was held concerning parking space problems at PARKING SPACE
Village Hall. Nothing was resolved on this matter. PROBLEMS
The review of the annual audit for fiscal year 1987-88 was ANNUAL
removed from the agenda. This will be placed on the Workshop AUDIT
Session agenda for Febrary 23, 1989.
There being no further business to cane before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 10:05 p.m.
