Mayor Pierman called the Workshop Session to order at 9:30 p.m. All
members of Council and staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 574, a proposed ordinance
amending Chspter 6, Article V, Signs and Outdoor Displays, of the
Code of Ordinances of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida.
This item will. be placed on the Regular session agenda of August
24, 1989.
A discussion was held concerning purchase orders exceeding
57,000.00 requiring Council approval in accordance with purchasing
regulations. This item will be placed on the Regular Session
ac!enda of August 24, 1989.
A discttssion was held regarding the Village Manager's request to
amend purchasing regulations. This item, with noted changes, will
be placed on the Regular Session agenda of August 24, 1989.
' A discttssion was held concerning proposed Interlocal Agreement from
SwA to implement recycling materials contract. The revised SWA
Interlocal Agreement will be placed on the Regular Session agenda
of August 24, 1989.
A discussion was held concerning Council approval of enrolling
Public Safety Director into the F.B.I. Academy commencing October
], ].989. This item will be placed on the Regular Session agenda
of August 24, 1989, for Council approval of the four items
contained on the Request for Council Action form dated August 7,
1989.
Agenda item "e" (Village Attorney's Follow-Up to Sign Ordinance
Questions) was removed from the Agenda.
A discussion was held concerning stipulations per Pepperwood
Subdivision being annexed in the Village. No action was taker,
concerning this item. There is nothing in writing from Council on
this item.
A discussion was held concerning resurfacing the staging area at
the North Palm Beach Country Club Golf Course. This item will be
placed on the Special Meeting agenda of August 15, 1989.
' There being no further business to come before the Council, the
rneetiztg was adjourned at 11:00 p.m.
