Mayor Mundt called the Country Club Budget Workshop Session to
order at 7:00 p.m. All members of the Council were present.
The Village Manager and the Director of Finance were also
present.
Councilman Marks suggested that the rate for non-resident golf
be 758 of what it was for 1987-88. He suggested a rate of 708
for Village residents. Councilman Gardner suggested keeping
the same rates.
President Pro Tem Valente suggested putting the full time
employees in Parks & Streets during construction. Councilman
Marks suggested loaning the employees to the contractors.
A long discussion was held on the position of Assistant
Superintendent and it was finally cut.
' Overtime in Golf Maintenance was reduced by $2,650.00.
Council requested costs for Repair and Maintenance (Acct. No.
39620) and will consider doing repair and maintenance
in-house.
Public Service Director Charlie O'Meilia was asked to supply
estimates on rebuilding the restrooms.
Golf Maintenance (Acct. No. 39640) was cut 55,000.00.
Fertilizer (Acct. No. 35223) was increased to $51,745.00.
Council needs figures on sand for traps (Acct. No. 35225).
Council will consider using the Special Assessment aaney for
the restrooms.
It was suggested to give the old m~iaer to Public Services when
it is replaced.
It was agreed to give the golf professional a six month
contract.
During golf course renovation it would be possible to shift Ben
' to Recreation and Wilma to Pool. All Rangers will be shifted
to the Golf Shop rather than have them split among two or more
departments.

Council agreed to take over the driving range.
Council requested that the lease on handicap service be checked
(Acct. No.33450). Council also requested a figure on a ball
picker.
Members of the public were in attendance at this meeting.
