Mayor Valente called the hbrkshop Session to order at 7:55 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council were present except Vice Mayor Marks
who was out of state. All members of the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 519, a proposed BILL 519
ordinance adding a chapter to the Village Code ooncerning fees
and costs for changes to the Village Canprehensive Plan. This
proposed ordinance will be placed on the regular session agenda
of October 22, 1987.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 520, a proposed BILL 520
ordinance adding a chapter to the Village Code concerning
annexation fees and costs. 'IY:is proposed ordinance will be

' A discussion was held concerning renewal of the contract between CONTRACT -
the Village of North Palm Beach and Tefco, Inc., food and TEFCO, INC.
beverage concessionaire at the North Palm Beach Country Club.
Staff has thirty days for negotiation of a one-year contract with
Tefco.
A discussion was held concerning the MacArthur Foundation MacARTHUR
annexation law suit. This item will be placed on the workshop FOUNpATION
session agenda of October 22, 1987. ANNEXATION SUIT
A discussion was held concerning the Village Council supporting PBG RESOLUTION
Palm Beach Gardens Resolution No. 74, 1987 urging the Palm Beach NO. 79, 1987
County Conmissioners not to remove Hood Road and Frederick Syriall
Road from its thoroughfare plan. A Village resolution will
be prepared for the regular session of October 22, 1987.
A discussion was held concerning Village Council support of a "BOTTLE BILL"
resolution urging the State Legislature to pass beverage RESOLUTION
container deposit legislation, commonly called a "bottle bill."

A discussion was held ooncerning transferring $10,675 from ROF to NEW GREENS
purchase a new greens mower and three verticutting units. The MOWER & VERTI-
Village Council authorized the Village Manager to go out to bid CUTTING UNITS
' for the greens mower.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the AATOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
