VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

Mayor Mundt called the Workshop Session to order at 8:10 p. m.
All members of the Council were present except Vice Mayor Valente
and Councilman Marks. All members of the staff were present.
Bill No. 481, a proposed ordinance amending Section 6-119 of the
Village Code dealing with unlawful signs, reducing the time for
compliance and providing an effective date was withdrawn from the
agenda due to the absence of Vice Mayor Valente and Councilman
Marks. This item will be placed on the June 26, 1986 workshop
session agenda.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 485, a proposed
ordinance prescribing reasonable rules and regulations with
reference to the placing and maintaining along, across or on any
road under the jurisdiction of the Village, the electric
transmission, telephone, or telegraph lines, pole lines, poles,
railways, ditches, sewers, water, heat, or gas mains, pipelines,
fences, gasoline tanks and pumps, or other structures, pursuant
to Section 337.401, Florida Statutes. This item will be placed
on the June 26, 1986 workshop session agenda.
A discussion was held concerning the award of bid to DeBra Turf &
Equipment Company for various units for golf course maintenance,
in the amount of $25,060.00 to be expended from the ROF. It was
discovered that the Cushman Runabout was not included in the
$25,060.00 bid from DeBra. Therefore, there will be two
resolutions for the bid award on the regular session agenda of
June 26, 1986, one for the Triplex riding putting greens mower,
the triplex utility mower, the trap rake and the fairway aerator,
all to be awarded to DeBra in the amount of $25,060.00; and the
other for the Model 534 Runabout to be awarded to Cushman Jeep,
Ft. Lauderdale, in the amount of $3,375.00.

A discussion was held concerning the supplemental Interlocal INTERLOCAL
Agreement between the Village and Palm Beach County regarding the AGREEMENT -
enactment of an appropriate amendment to the local option gas tax ADDITIONAL 2
ordinance to levy an additional two cent local option gas tax to CENT GAS TAX
the already enacted four cent tax within Palm Beach County. This
' item will be placed on the June 26, 1986 regular session agenda.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p. m.
