VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

THURSDAY, MARCH 14, 1985

Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 9:40 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning hiring Long Associates as PAY PLAN
consultants for a pay plan study for the Village. It was decided STUDIES
that the Village Manager would renegotiate with Long Associates
after which time the item is to be brought back before the
Council at another workshop session.
A discussion was held concerning the Village entering into a Risk FIRMA
Management Health Plan for Village employees (FIRMA). It was
decided that this item will be placed on the regular session
agenda of March 28, 1985 for approval.
A discussion was held concerning proposed longevity pay for all LONGEVITY PLAN
full time Village employees other then those covered by the PBA
Contract. It was decided that an ordinance was to be drafted
similar to the PBA Contract and that this item will appear on the
regular session of March 28, 1985 for first reading.
A discussion was held concerning authorizing the Village Manager OUTSIDE CUSTODIAL
to go out for bids for an outside custodial service for the SERVICE - RECRE-
Recreation Department. This item will appear on the regular ATION DEPARTMENT
session agenda of March 28, 1985.
A discussion was held concerning the remaining unserviced light OSBORNE PARK -
poles at Osborne Park. It was decided that a motion to go out LIGHTING
for bids be placed on the regular session agenda of March 28,
1985.
A discussion was held concerning First Bankers $100.00 donation FIRST BANKERS
to the Village. It was decided that the money will be used to DONATION
buy four new chairs for the Village Community Center.
' There being no further business to come before the Council, ADJOURNMENT
the meeting was adjourned at 10:55 p.m.
