Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 9:00 p.m.
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
Bill No. 458, a proposed ordinance concerning the sale, lease or
improvement of certain Village owned real property was withdrawn
from the agenda and will be discussed at a later workshop
session.
A discussion was held concerning awarding bid to DeBra Turf
Equipment Company, Hollywood, FL, for a mowing tractor for the
North Palm Beach Country Club in the amount of $33,590.00, to be
expended from Account No. 41-572-111-66000 (Capital). This item
will be placed on the regular session agenda of January 9,
1986.

A discussion was held concerning setting the date, time and place POLITICAL
for the Political Candidates' Forum for the March 11, 1986 CANDIDATES'
General Election which is sponsored by the Village Council. The FORUM
Council determined that this forum will be held Wednesday, March
5, 1986, at 7:30 p. m. in the North Palm Beach Community Center.
A discussion was held concerning the proposal of annexation of PROPOSED
the Pepperwood Development. This item will be placed on the PEPPERWOOD
regular session agenda of January 9, 1986. ANNEXATION
A discussion was held concerning financing for the gas tank leak COUNTRY CLUB
cleanup and replacement at the North Palm Beach Country Club. GAS TANK LEAK
The Council agreed that the initial bill of 83,500.00 will be
transferred from the Council Contingency Account, and we will
await the results of the audit to determine how much is available
from the ROF (Reserve Operation Fund) to pay the balance of the
gas leak repair bills. The Village Manager is to keep the
Council apprised of the leak situation.
' There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 9:50 p. m.
