Mayor Marks called the Workshop Session to order at 8:45 p.m.
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning adoption of Departmental Order,
Department of Public Safety, Village of North Palm Beach,
concerning Harassment-Discrimination as Section 1.05 of the
Personnel Rules & Regulations. The Village Manager is to rework
this and bring it back to Council at a future workshop.
A discussion was held concerning the contract with May Zima for
the audit for fiscal year ending September 30, 1984. The Village
Manager was instructed to check the rate. According to
Councilman Valente, one of the gentlemen from May Zima stated the
rate would be the same fora two year period, that there would be
no increase for the second year. This item will be placed on the
regular session agenda of June 14, 1984.
A discussion was held concerning the updated status of the
Pension Fund for employees of the Village with Investment Counsel
Company. The Village Manager is to contact three investment
firms, and after fees are obtained there will be a Special
Session on this matter.

There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 9:40 p.m.
