VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD THURSDAY, JUNE 10, 1982

Mayor Moore called the Workshop Session to order at ROLL CALL
9:10 p.m. All members of the Council and staff were
present.
Discussion was held concerning Bill 402, a proposed BILL 402
ordinance of the Village of North Palm Beach amending
Chapter 5 of the Village Code. This item will be
placed on the Regular session agenda of June 24 for
first reading.
Discussion was held concerning the widening of Lighthouse WIDENING OF
Drive. After hearing from several members of the audience LIGHTHOUSE DR.
who are residents of Lighthouse Drive, it was decided that
this project will be completed.
Discussion was held concerning the bid award for the
Tennis Courts at the Country Club. This item will be
placed on Regular session of June 24 - to be decided
at that time if the money is there to complete this
project.
A discussion was held concerning the bond interest
money of the Country Club. The bleachers and diving
tower for the pool area and lounge carpet for the
bar area will go to Regular session after the money
situation is cleared up and several questions are
answered, i.e., where the money is going to come from;
need legal opinion of the use of the interest money;
how much is actually there - of the bond money and
interest.
Discussion was held concerning the annual audit. This
item will be placed on the Regular session agenda of
June 24, 1982.

ANNUAL AUDIT
Discussion was held concerning the state-wide task force STATE-WIDE
on voluntarism. It was decided that the Mayor would TASK FORCE ON
write a letter stating that the Resolution is unclear VOLUNTARISM
and that the Council is not interested at this time.
There being no further business to come before the ADJOURNMENT
Council the meeting was adjourned at 10:45 p.m.
