VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD THURSDAY, JUNE 11, 1981

Absent: Al Moore, Councilman
Mayor Marks called the Workshop Session to order at 8:05 ROLL CALL
p.m. All members of the Council and Staff were present
with the exception of Al Moore, Councilman.
A discussion was held concerning the charging off of.un- DELINQUENT
collectible accounts at the Country Club. This item will
be placed on the Regular agenda of 6-25-81.
A discussion was held concerning drafting an anti-litter ANTI-LITTER
ordinance imposing a $500 fine for discarding trash, cans, ORDINANCE
bottles, cigarettes, etc. along the streets and highways
of the Village. In view of the fact that we already have
an existing ordinance, it was the consensus of the Council
that signs be posted stating there was a fine - up to
$500 - for littering. It was agreed that the Village
Manager should look into the cost of signs, locations for
posting same, number of signs to be posted, how violators
will be handled and report back to the Council.
There being no further business to come before the Council, ADJOURNMENT
the meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
