Mayor Love called the Workshop Session to order at 9:35 P.M. All ROLL CALL
members of the Council were present.
Mr, Wolf, a resident, spoke to the Council regarding the riding of BICYCLES ON
bicycles on sidewalks rather than in the streets. The Attorney will STREETS OR SIDEWALKS
have material available to the Council on this subject at the next
Workshop session.
Discussion was held concerning the needs and use of NCR 399 equipment NCR 399 COMPUTER
and recamrndations concerning modification to the system. After EQUIP'MINP
considerable discussion it was decided that this item be placed on
the next Regular Session Agenda of February 12, 1976.
Iiscussion was held concerning the selection of an architect for the LIBRARY EXPANSION
proposed library expansion project. the architects being considered SELECTION OF
are Mr. Arsenicos, Mr. Slater and Mr. Packwr~od-Wypych, in that order. ARCHITECT
Negotiations will continue with these three architects and the
results will be brought back to Council in a timely fashion.
Discussion was held concerning the City Council, Riviera Beach,
urging the Village Council to act vigorously to alleviate certain
conditions which are hazardous or objectionable to persons utilizing
or living adjacent to "Air Force Beach" on Singer Island. A draft
will be prepared of a Mutual Aid Agreement between the Village and
Riviera Beach by the Attorney and the Village Manager will proceed
with attempts to have unwanted materials removed from this site.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 10:15 P.M.
