A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A WRITTEN PROPOSAL FROM PMG ASSOCIATES,
INC., (PMGA) TO CONDUCT PUBLIC OPINION SURVEYS OF VILLAGE RESIDENTS
FOR A COST OF SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ($7,500.00) DOLLARS, WHICH
PROPOSAL IS ATTACHED AS EXHIBIT "A'' AND MADE PART HEREOF; AND,
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby
approve the proposal of PMG Associates, Inc., (PMGA) to conduct public opinion surveys of
Village residents for a cost of Seven Thousand Five Hundred ($7,500.00) Dollars, which
proposal is attached as Exhibit "A" and made part hereof.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.

PMG Associates, Inc. (PMGA) is please to submit the following proposal for the completion of a
Village-wide survey of the citizens of North Palm Beach. The survey will measure the household
perceptions, opinions and preferences of the residents.
We propose a sample size of 300 which will generate a Confidence Level of +/- 5% for the
survey. These surveys will be distributed throughout the community to insure that all portions of
the Village are represented on a proportional basis. Vl~'e may also be able to provide results for
the entire Village as well as various geographic segments.
The following is an outline of services that we will provide, time frame and cost.
SCOPE:
This project will consist of the following:
• Development of survey instrument
• Organization of the telephone list
• Completion of survey by telephone
• Analysis, appropriate cross tabulations and report of results
• Presentation to staff
FEE:
- The fee for this engagement assumes a survey size of no more than 4~ questions (or parts of
questions). Surveys longer than the 4.5 question limit may be too long for the residents to remain
on the telephone. W"e would complete 300 surveys with the 45 question limit for a fee of $7,500.
This fee may be reduced, if the number of questions is less than 45.
Vl%e also suggest thai some of the questions be open-ended (no specific response to check). This
aiiows for expansion of the thoughts of the respondent. The open-ended questions would ask
why a certain response was given to a question regarding preference or attitude. Inclusion of
open-ended questions would not add to the cost, however, they would count toward the 45
question limit.
TIME FRA?~1E:
Upon approval of the final survey by North Palm Beach, a report would be delivered in four weeks.

indicated and return a signed copy to PMG Associates, Inc.
