BILL 1234 – 2ND READING AND PUBLIC HEARING OF ORDINANCE – BUDGET

AMENDMENT – EMS EQUIPMENT
Consider a motion to approve second reading of
Bill 1234, a proposed ordinance amending the 2006-07 General Fund Budget to appropriate
funds in the amount of $46,350 to purchase certain EMS equipment to be funded by
Palm Beach County Emergency Medical Services Grant Program.
Consider a motion to enact Bill 1234 as Ordinance 2007-12.

RESOLUTION – PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT AMENDMENT
1.
Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving Third Amendment to the
Continuing Contract for Professional Engineering Services between the Village and SFRN, Inc.

RESOLUTION – VILLAGE WATERWAYS DESIGNATION – MANATEE PROTECTION PLAN
2.
Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution opposing the designation of Village
Waterways as set forth in the Palm Beach County Manatee Protection Plan.

RESOLUTION – AUDITOR’S REPORT ON VILLAGE PURCHASING PROCEDURES

Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution accepting the report prepared by Caler,
Donten, Levine, Druker, Porter & Veil, P.A. concerning its review and evaluation of the
Village’s purchasing and cash disbursement policies.

RESOLUTION – MOLE CRICKET PESTICIDE PURCHASE FOR GOLF COURSE
4. Consider a
motion to adopt a resolution approving the sole source purchase of pesticide from Bayer
Environmental Services at a cost not to exceed $14,750 for mole cricket eradication at the
golf course; funds to be expended from account L8045-35230 (Golf Course Maintenance –
Pesticides and Herbicides.)

RESOLUTION – BUDGET AMENDMENT – ANNEXATION STUDY
5. Consider a motion to
adopt a proposed resolution amending 2006-2007 General Fund Budget to transfer $10,000
from account A5540-49911 (Council Contingency) to account A5206-33491 (Planning and
Community Development – Contractual Services) to fund Annexation Study performed by
Land Research Management, Inc.

MOTION – GOLF COURSE RECIPROCITY
6. Consider a motion to authorize reciprocal
agreement with certain specified area clubs as outlined and in accordance with Village policies.

If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the
Village Council meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to
ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence
upon which the appeal is to be based.
This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature
of governmental duties and responsibilities, the Village Council reserves the right to make additions to, or
deletions from, the items contained in this agenda.
