BILL 1233 – 2ND READING AND PUBLIC HEARING OF ORDINANCE – POSITION

RECLASSIFICATION – LIBRARY ASSISTANT III
Consider a motion to approve second
reading of Bill 1233, a proposed ordinance amending the 2006-07 Comprehensive Pay and
Classification Plan to reclassify one Library position.
Consider a motion to enact Bill 1233 as Ordinance 2007-11.

The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or pro-forma nature. Councilmen
may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically convey that item to the Regular

RESOLUTION – VILLAGE MANAGER EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT
1. Consider a motion to
adopt a proposed resolution appointing James W. Knight, Jr. to serve as Village Manager
and approving an Employment Agreement between the Village and Knight.

RESOLUTION – FLORIDA BOATING IMPROVEMENT GRANT APPLICATION
2. Consider a
motion to adopt a proposed resolution authorizing application for a grant from the Florida Boating
Improvement Program for Anchorage Park.

RESOLUTION – PROSPERITY FARMS ROAD BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT COMPLETION

Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving an agreement with Delray
Garden Center for landscaping materials and services to complete the Prosperity Farms Road
Beautification Project as required under the Grant Agreement with Palm Beach County.

RESOLUTION – HONORARY GOLF MEMBERSHIP AWARD
4. Consider a motion to adopt
a proposed resolution awarding honorary golf memberships to Jack and Barbara Nicklaus.

5. Consider a
motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving a budget amendment to transfer
$55,058.00 from the Unappropriated and Undesignated Fund Balance to the Village Hall
Renovation Capital Account to fund completion of improvements to Village Hall.

6. Consider
a motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving a contract with Charles S. Whiteside, Inc. for
the installation of concrete sidewalks, curbing and asphalt resurfacing at Village Hall.

If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the
Village Council meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to
ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence
upon which the appeal is to be based.
This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature
of governmental duties and responsibilities, the Village Council reserves the right to make additions to, or
deletions from, the items contained in this agenda.
