BILL 1200 – 1ST READING OF ORDINANCE REINSTATING COMPOSITION OF BOARD

OF TRUSTEES OF FIRE AND POLICE RETIREMENT FUND
Consider a motion to
approve first reading of Bill 1200, a proposed ordinance rescinding and repealing Ordinance
No. 2006-04, which changed the composition of the Board of Trustees of the Fire and Police
Retirement Fund; amending Subsection (a) of Section 2-164 of Division 4 of the Code of
Ordinances to reinstate the composition of the Board prior to enactment of Ordinance 2006-04.

D. CONSENT AGENDA
1. Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor and Village Clerk to enter into Addendum to
BellSouth Business Services Master Agreement for the purpose of obtaining Net VPN
Telecommunications Equipment and Services
2. Approve disbursement of Law Enforcement Trust Funds in the amount of $7,400 to the
Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies in accordance with State
Statute and Village Policy

RESOLUTION – APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR NORTH SUBSTATION DESIGN AND

CONSTRUCTION MONITORING
Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution
authorizing the Mayor and Village Clerk to enter into an agreement with Stephen Boruff,
AIA, Architects + Planners, Inc. to provide design and construction monitoring services for
Public Safety North Substation.
ACTION
RESOLUTION – REIMBURSEMENT OF NORTH SUBSTATION PROJECT COSTS
2.
Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution establishing intent to reimburse certain
costs associated with the design and construction of the North Substation from proceeds of
future bank loan financing.

RESOLUTION – BROWNFIELDS GRANT APPLICATION FOR ANCHORAGE PARK
3.
Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution authorizing the Mayor and Village Clerk to
apply for and execute a grant from the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council
Brownsfields Assessment Program for the purpose of facilitating redevelopment of
properties at Anchorage Park.

RESOLUTION – FDOT ENHANCEMENT PROJECTS GRANT FOR ANCHORAGE PARK

Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution authorizing the Mayor and
Village Clerk to apply for and execute a grant from the Florida Dept. of Transportation
Enhancement Projects for construction of walkways, bike paths and boardwalks at
Anchorage Park.

RANKING OF DESIGN/ENGINEERING FIRMS FOR ANCHORAGE PARK IMPROVEMENTS

Consider a motion to approve ranking of design/engineering firm for Anchorage Park
improvements and authorize administration to negotiate with top-ranked firm.

This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature
of governmental duties and responsibilities, the Village Council reserves the right to make additions to, or
