VILLAGE MANAGER’S REPORT 10. EX PARTE COMMUNICATIONS 11. ORDINANCES 12. REGULAR SESSION AGENDA – THURSDAY, AUGUST 26, 2004 BILL 1148 – BUDGET AMENDMENT – STREET PAVING. a. Consider a motion to approve second reading and enactment of Bill 1148, a proposed ordinance amending the General Fund Budget for FY 2003-2004 to appropriate funds in the amount of $200,000 for street paving. Enact Bill 1148 as Ordinance __________. ACTION RESOLUTIONS 13. RESOLUTION – SUPPORTING REFERENDUM FOR LEVY OF HALF CENT SALES a. TAX BY THE SCHOOL BOARD. Consider a motion to adopt a resolution supporting a levy of a discretionary half cent sales tax by the School Board of Palm Beach County to finance a comprehensive plan to construct and renovate public schools countywide. ACTION RESOLUTION – APPOINTING VILLAGE CLERK. b. Consider a motion appointing a Village Clerk, effective September 30, 2004. ACTION MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS 14. CITIZENS’ SURVEY (TABLED 8/12/04). a. Consider a motion to accept the citizens’ survey conducted by PMG Associates, Inc. ACTION BUDGET TRANSFER – PUBLIC SAFETY – OVERTIME PAY. b. Consider a motion to approve a budget transfer in the amount of $50,000 from various A5711 accounts in Public Safety to A5711-11400 (Overtime) for the purpose of covering deficit in overtime account. ACTION BUDGET TRANSFER – COUNTRY CLUB – MOTOR REPLACEMENT. c. Consider a motion to approve a budget transfer at the North Palm Beach in the amount of $2,500 from LL8070-49910 (Country Club Contingency) to L8045-34650 (R&M-Machinery & Equipment) for the purpose of replacing a 25 h.p. irrigation motor for the golf course at the North Palm Beach Country Club. ACTION 2 REGULAR SESSION AGENDA – THURSDAY, AUGUST 26, 2004 BUDGET TRANSFER – COUNTRY CLUB – OVERTIME PAY. d. Consider a motion to approve a budget transfer at the North Palm Beach Country Club in the amount of $2,500 from L8070-49910 (Country Club Contingency) to L8045-11400 (Overtime Pay) due to overtime costs increased by salary survey rate increases not being appropriated in original budget. ACTION ADJOURNMENT 15. Next Ordinance 24-2004 Next Resolution 47-2004 If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the Village Council meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to based. This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature of governmental duties and responsibilities, the Village Council reserves the right to make additions to, or deletions from, the items contained in this agenda. 3
