A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2)
USED CARS TO BE USED BY THE PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT AS UNMARKED
DETECTIVE CARS IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,673.00 FROM ENTERPRISE CAR SALES
OF POMPANO BEACH, FLORIDA; FUNDS TO BE EXPENDED FROM ACCOUNT NO.
A5711-66410, LAW ENFORCEMENT-CAPITAL-AUTOMOTIVE; WAIVING THAT
PORTION OF THE VILLAGE'S PURCHASING REGULATIONS THAT REQUIRES
FORMAL ADVERTISING AND SEALED BIDS FOR PURCHASES IN EXCESS OF
$10,000.00; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of two (2) used cars to be used by
the Public Safety Department as unmarked detective cars, in the amount of $26,673.00, from
Enterprise Car Sales, Pompano Beach, Florida. The appropriate Village officials are hereby
authorized and directed to purchase said vehicles. The monies are to be expended from account
A5711-66410, Law Enforcement-Capital-Automotive.
Section 2. The Village Council does hereby waive that portion of the Village's purchasing
regulations that requires formal advertising and sealed bids for purchases in excess of $10,000.00.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
