13E ]7' RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby support
the Florida Department of Elder Affairs Initiative to make Florida Elder Ready whereby elders can
be independent and remain in their homes as long as possible.
Section 2. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby agree to
undertake an Elder Keady Community Survey to identify problems that hinder elders from living
independently.
Section 3. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to furnish a certified copy of this
Resolution to the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, Tallahassee, Florida.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
