A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A 2006 DODGE DURANGO
FITTED WITH SPECIFIC VILLAGE REQUIREMENTS AS OUTLINED, IN AN AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED $20,107.00 FROM MAROONE DODGE OF MIAMI, FUNDS TO BE
EXPENDED FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER 66410 GENERAL FUND AUTOMOTIVE IN
THE CODE ENFORCEMENT AND FACILITY MAINTENANCE DIVISON.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
Section 1 The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of a 2006 Dodge
Durango 4X2 fitted with specific requirements as outlined in the amount not to exceed
$20,107.00.
Section 2 That this purchase shall be made from Maroone Dodge of Miami under
Florida Sheriffs Association, Florida Association of Counties & Florida Fire Chiefs'
Association based bid specification #17.
Section 3 The appropriate Village officials are hereby authorized and directed to
purchase said vehicle using available approved budget funds in account #66410
General Fund Automotive from the Code Enforcement Division A6020 and Facility
Maintenance A5519.
Section 4 That upon delivery, acceptance and placement into service of the new
vehicle, the Village shall immediately retire and declare surplus the 1994 Chevrolet
Caprice #15 which then shall be sold at the earliest possible date.
Section 5 This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 23rd DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2006.
