A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR VOTING
REPRESENTATIVE AND THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER/DIRECTOR VOTING
ALTERNATE TO SERMA; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The Village is a member of the South East Risk Management Association
(SERMA) Risk Management Pool and,
WHEREAS, Article VI a., thereof provides that the governing body of each municipality
comprising SERMA shall appoint one person to represent the body on the Board of Directors for
a specified term and another person to serve as an alternate;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORDIA:
Section 1. The Village Council of North Palm Beach hereby appoints the Finance Director
as Representative of the governing body to serve on the Board of Directors of SERMA for an
indefinite term.
Section 2. The Village Council of North Palm Beach hereby appoints the Human Resources
Manager/Director asAlternate to serve on the Board of Directors of SERMA in the event that the
above named Representative is unable to carry out his or her duties.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
