2001-079 Extends Northlake Boulevard Zoning In Progress• RESOLUTION 79-2001 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM B};ACH, FLORIDA, EXTENDING THE ZONING IN PROGRESS FOR REAL PROPERTIES WITHIN THE VILLAGE THAT ABUT NORTHLAKE BOULEVARD (OTHER THAN REAL PROPERTY NOW KNOWN AS "SHOPPES OF NORTHLAKE" AND FORMERLY KNOWN AS "TWIN CITY MALL") AND PROPERTIES EAST OF U.S. HIGHWAY NO. 1 THAT ABUT NORTHLAKE BOULEVARD, WH[CH PROPERTIES ARE MORE PARTICULARLY DISCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED, FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) MONTHS TO FI'sI1KUARY 1, 2002; PROVIDING NOTIFICATION TO PROPERTY OWNERS AFFECTED AND THE PUBLIC AT LARGE; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach adopted Resolution 14-2001, which placed in the Public Record that the Village Council has zoning in progress for real properties within the Village that abut Northlake Boulevard (other than real property now known as "Shoppes of Northlake" and formerly known as "Twin City Mall") and properties east of U.S. Highway No. 1 that abut Northlake Boulevard, which properties are more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached; and WI IEREAS, time of duration for zoning in progress was nine (9) months commencing February 1, 2001, and expiring November 1, 2001; and WHFsREAS, Resolution 14-2001 gave authority to extend the duration for zoning in progress an additional period of three (3) months. Bl: IT RF,SOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby extend the duration for zoning in progress for real properties within the Village that abut Northlake Boulevard (other than real property now known as "Shoppes of Northlake" and formerly known as "Twin City Mall") and properties east of U.S. Highway No. 1 that abut Northlake Boulevard, which properties are more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached, for a period of three (3) months to • 1'ebruary 1, 2002. Section 2. Notification to Property Owners and Public. • Notification to property owners affected and the public at large shall be disseminated as follows: A. The Village Clerk shall post a copy of this Resolution at Village Hall and furnish a certified copy of the Resolution to the Village Board of Adjustment and Planning Commission. I3. The Village Manager shall place in the next available newsletter notification of the extension of the zoning in progress to February 1, 2002, and the areas affected. C. The Public Services Director of the Village shall notify all persons applying for building or other permits relative to land and buildings within the affected area that the zoning in progress for subject property has been extended to February 1, 2002.
