A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF HAAS, DIAZ & CO. TO RENEW THF',
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE AND HAAS, DIAZ & CO.; ATTACHED AS
EXHIBIT "A", WHICH AGREEMENT PROVIDES FOR AN AUDIT OF THE VILLAGE'S
GIiNF.RAL PURPOSE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING
SEPTIiMBER 30, 2001; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Bls IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby
accept the offer of Haas, Diaz & Co. to renew the agreement between the Village and Haas, Diaz
& Co., attached as Exhibit "A", which agreement provides for an audit of the Village's General
Purpose Financial Statements for the fiscal year ending September 3Q 2001.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.

Re: Agreement to Provide for an Audit of the Village's
General-Purpose Financial Statements for the Fiscal
Year Ending September 30, 2001
Members of Council:
Pursuant to Article 10.1 of the contract executed between the Village of North Palm Beach,
Florida and Haas, Diaz & Co., CPA on June 24, 1999, we wish to give notice of our intent to
renew this contract to include the audit of the general-purpose financial statements of the Vil-
lage for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2001.
The audit will be conducted at our contractual price of $20,725 for the fiscal year ending Sep-
tember 30, 2001. Our standard billing rates remain the same as those stated in Article 10.2.
All other terms and conditions under our agreement dated June 24,1999, will remain the same
except for time schedules which will be adjusted for the passage of time.
If the terms of this offer to renew are acceptable, please indicate your acceptance in the space
provided below.
