• A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING ANNUAL FIRE
INSPECTION FEES AND PLAN REVIEW FEES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Ordinance 2009-15, the Village Council amended the
Village Code of Ordinances to remove the annual fire inspection fee schedule from Section 12-17
of the Village Code to allow the Village Council to adopt and amend the fee schedule by
resolution; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 2009-15 adopted a new Section 12-18 of the Village Code, requiring
review of all construction, reconstruction or renovation plans and all fire suppression, smoke
detection and fire alarm systems by the Village's Fire Rescue Division in accordance with the
requirements of the Florida Fire Prevention Code and the adoption of plan review, inspection and
re-inspection fees; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to adopt a fee schedule for fire inspections and plan
review, including re-inspections, as required by Sections 12-17 and 12-18 of the Village Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. As required by Sections 12-17 and 12-18 of the Village Code of Ordinances, the
Village Council hereby approves the fee schedule for annual inspections and plan review,
including re-inspections, as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
