A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE
CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE AGREEMENT TO
CONDUCT FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPERATIONS AT THE NORTH PALM BEACH
COUNTRY CLUB, WHICH AMENDMENT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ALTERING
REQUIREMENTS FOR SERVING OF DINNER AT THE COUNTRY CLUB; AND,
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby
approve Amendment No. 1 to the Lease Agreement to conduct food and beverage operations at
the North Palm Beach Country Club by changing the requirements for service of dinner at the
Country Club, which Amendment is attached as Exhibit "A".
• Section 2. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
Amendment to the Lease Agreement to conduct food and beverage operations at the North Palm
}3cach Country Club with Zelnia, Van Schaffelaar, Price, Inc., a Florida corporation, set forth in
Pxhibit "A" for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.

LEASE AGREEMENT
TO CONDUCT FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPERATIONS AT
THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB
THIS AMENDMENT N0. 1 is to that certain Agreement dated the
L5xhday of September, 1995, and entered into this 25th day of
January 1996 by and between the VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, a Florida municipal corporation, hereinafter called
"VILLAGE", and ZELNIA, VAN SCHAFFELAAR, PRICE, INC., a Florida
corporation, hereinafter called "LESSEE".
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, the parties to this Agreement are desirous
of amending Section 3C of the Lease Agreement deleting the
requirement that dinners shall be served on Thursday night and
providing that dinners shall be served on Tuesday night with any
proposed change therefrom by Lessee to be first approved by the
Country Club Administrative Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and of the
mutual benefits, promises and agreements herein contained, it is
agreed as follows:
1. Subsection 3C of the Lease Agreement is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"C. The Lounge shall operate seven days a week and be
open from 10 AM and close no earlier than 7 PM. Lunch will be
• served every day in the Lounge from 11 AM to 2:30 PM. From June 1
through September 30, LESSEE shall have the option to close on
Mondays. The dining room shall be open every Tuesday and Wednesday
the men's and women's Golf Associations Luncheons. The dining room
shall remain open after woman's Golf Association Luncheons on
Wednesday for bridge and WGA activities until 4 PM. Lessee shall
serve dinners on Tuesday night of each week from 6 PM until 8 PM
and Sunday Brunch shall be optional with Lessee. If Lessee is
desirous of changing dinner from Tuesday night to another night in
any given week, such change shall only be made with the approval of
the Country Club Administrative Board. Lessee shall not designate
nor shall the Country Club Administrative Board approve dinner on
any night that falls on a general or special election within the
Village."
2. All other terms and provisions of the Lease Agreement
. that are not specifically modified by this Addendum No. 1 shall
remain in full force and effect.
