A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
SUPPORTING THE NORTHERN AREA MUTUAL AID
CONSORTIUM (NAMAC) PROPOSAL TO FUND A
FEASIBILITY STUDY OF A CENTRALIZED DISPATCH
SYSTEM TO HANDLE EMERGENCY RESPONSE REQUESTS
FROM RESIDENTS OF MUNICIPALITIES WHO ARE
MEMBERS OF THE CONSORTIUM; AUTHORIZING
EXPENDITURE NOT TO EXCEED ONE THOUSAND
($1,000.00) DOLLARS AS THE SHARE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH IN FUNDING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY; AND,
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
• FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby support the proposal of Northern
Area Mutual Aid Consortium (NAMAC) to fund a feasibility study of
a centralized dispatch system to handle emergency response requests
from residents of municipalities who are members of the Consortium.
Section 2. The Village Council of the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby authorize an expenditure not to
exceed One Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars as the share of North Palm
Beach to fund the feasibility study of a centralized dispatch
system.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect
• immediately upon its adoption.
