1 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHARTS AND
COMPREHENSIVE PAY PLAN ADOPTED AS PART OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2022
BUDGET TO IMPROVE SERVICE DELIVERY; REVISING POSITIONS WITHIN
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, THE VILLAGE CLERK'S OFFICE, THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE COUNTRY CLUB;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Ordinance No. 2021-17 ("Budget Ordinance") on September 23,
2021, the Village Council adopted Organizational Charts and a Comprehensive Pay Plan as part of the
annual budget for Fiscal Year 2022; and
WHEREAS, Section 5 of the Budget Ordinance authorizes the Village Council to revise the
Comprehensive Pay Plan by Resolution during the course of the Fiscal Year; and
WHEREAS, at the recommendation of Village Staff and in order to improve service delivery, the Village
Council wishes to amend the Comprehensive Pay Plan and Organizational Chart to: eliminate two full-
time positions in the Public Works Department and create two additional full-time and one additional
part-time position; eliminate a position within the Village Clerk's Office and create a new position within
the Community Development Department; and replace a position within the Country Club; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests
of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby amends the Comprehensive Pay Plan for Fiscal Year 2022
as follows:
Public Works Department
Eliminate the full-time Streets and Stormwater Manager and Solid Waste Manager positions and
create a full-time Field Operations Manager position at Pay Grade 118 and a full-time Facilities
Manager position at Pay Grade 115.
Create a new part-time Facilities Maintenance Technician position at Pay Grade 109.
Village Clerk's Office
Eliminate the full-time Administrative Coordinator position.
Reclassify the Deputy Village Clerk position from Pay Grade 114 to 113.
Community Development Department
Create a new full-time Code Compliance Assistant position at Pay Grade 108.
Country Club
Eliminate the full-time Accounting Clerk position and create a new full-time Accountant position
at Pay Grade 113.
The Village Council hereby adopts the revised Organizational Charts incorporating these changes, copies
of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 3. All other provisions of the Organizational Charts and the Comprehensive Pay Plan, to the
extent not specifically modified herein, shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
