ORDER GRANTING DIMENSIONAL EXCEPTION

Property Location: 901 Shore Drive, North Palm Beach, FL 33408 ("Property")
Legal Description: Lot 10, Block 47, Village of North Palm Beach Plat No. 6, according to
the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 26 Page 10 of the public records
of Palm Beach County, Florida (PCN: 68-43-42-08-02-047-0100)
Request: Dimensional Exception from Section 18-35.1(6) of the Village Code of
Ordinances to store a Recreational Vehicle on the Property that is
twelve feet ten inches (12'10") in height and forty feet eleven and one-
half inches (40'11'/2") in length.
THIS MATTER came before the Village Council for hearing on July 8, 2021. After
considering the testimony and other evidence presented by the Applicant and Village Staff,
the Village Council hereby makes the following findings of fact:
1. The hearing was properly noticed in accordance with Section 18-35.1(12) of
the Village Code of Ordinances.
2. Applicant's request meets the requirements for approval of a dimensional
exception as set forth in Section 18-35.1 of the Village Code of Ordinances.
Based on the foregoing findings of fact, it is ORDERED by the Village Council that
the Applicants' request for a dimensional exception from Section 18-35.1(6) of the Village
Code of Ordinances to store a Recreational Vehicle on the Property that is twelve feet ten
inches (12'10") in height and forty feet eleven and one-half inches (40'11'/2") in length is
hereby APPROVED subject to the following conditions:
A. The hedges shall be allowed to remain in the existing planters until January 1,
2022 in order to grow a few feet taller and provide for immediate screening for
the neighbor to the west;
B. The new shrubs shall be planted in the ground by January 1, 2022;
C. A specially designed planter, to be reviewed and approved by Community
Development Department Staff, shall be installed to provide screening of the
Recreational Vehicle from the point of ingress and egress; and

D. If any of the trees or shrubs on adjacent properties that are currently providing
screening are removed, they shall be replaced on the Applicants' property or
the neighboring property within six (6) months of their removal.
