ORDER GRANTING DIMENSIONAL EXCEPTION

Property Location: 837 Dogwood Road, North Palm Beach, FL 33408 ("Property")
Legal Description: Lot 19, Block B, Village of North Palm Beach Plat No. 4, according to
the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 25, Page 229 of the public records
of Palm Beach County, Florida (PCN: 68-43-42-17-09-002-0190)
Request: Dimensional Exception from Section 18-35.1(6) of the Village Code of
Ordinances to store a Recreational Vehicle on the Property that is
eleven feet (11') in height and thirty-six feet (36') in length.
THIS MATTER came before the Village Council for hearing on May 13, 2021. After
considering the testimony and other evidence presented by the Applicant and Village Staff,
the Village Council hereby makes the following findings of fact:
1. The hearing was properly noticed in accordance with Section 18-35.1(12) of
the Village Code of Ordinances.
2. Applicant's request meets the requirements for approval of a dimensional
exception as set forth in Section 18-35.1 of the Village Code of Ordinances.
Based on the foregoing findings of fact, it is ORDERED by the Village Council that
the Applicant's request for a dimensional exception from Section 18-35.1(6) of the Village
Code of Ordinances to store a Recreational Vehicle on the Property that is twelve feet (12')
in height and forty feet (40') in length is hereby APPROVED subject to the following
conditions:
1. The Applicant shall provide shrubs or trees with a minimum height of
four (4) feet along the west property line that must grow to screen the
RV at ninety percent opacity within two (2) years.
2. The Applicant shall replace the chain-link gate with a suitable properly
anchored opaque material through review and inspection of a building
permit.
3. If any of the trees or shrubs on adjacent properties that are currently
providing screening are removed, they shall be replaced on the
Applicant's property or the neighboring property within six (6) months of
their removal.
