ComposiI tion 's S tucco. 2. The addition is stucco on the outside. The inside has a drop plaster ceiling, fireplace, terrazzo floor, and cedar walls., It once had a small bar but it is now gone, The addition was I .constructed in the mid -1930's at the time S'r Harry Oakes oc- cupied it. 3. The flat roof just west of the south tower was used as a surf.- deck and was accessible from the second floor. 4. All roof beams are genuine wood, do go through the building and. were not used for drainage. 5. The front of, the building does have wood beamed ceilings, Those rooms now have drop ceilings 11 IeV One a' the sainne t T71ion thr- addition was put on. 7. The stripes below the windows on the west side are no longer vis- ible. They were apparently covered up with stucco.. The following is additional information: The edifice contains 40 rooms., including 15 bedrooms and 9 bath- rooms. The cellar is full length and split into four rooms. rj'--'he first floor north end contains two. Recreation offices. This was an add-on and was once the Club Pro Shop. There is also a 'bathroom and two kitchens at this end. It has an adjoining bathroom, office, and showers, plus a stor- age room. This room has an oval painting about 4' x 7' which is now covered up. The next two rooms are now used for ballet. They were the original ballroom and are now split. There is a concrete archway into the hall leading from one to the other. The hallway has a stone floor. We are now at the south end where there is another bathroom and hallway leading to the southeast addition (already described), There is also a storage room at this end. r"111 . The second floor south is now accessible only from the patio on the west side. There are concrete stairs leading up. On this floor there are nine bedrooms and four bathrooms. They all have wood floors, plaster walls and ceilings. The third floor north has two bedrooms and one bathroom., all with deplorable plaster. The third floor south is similar with one bedroom and one bath. We have taken 35 mm black and white pictures of most of the interior and will forward them as soon as they are available.
