KING 1966 IMPORTANTINFORMATION TOURNAMENT PLAY AND WEEKLY LADIES DAY EVENTS 1. Ladies days are held each Wednesday of the month. Nine and eighteen hole tournaments shall be played each ladies day. Nine hole events only will be played from June 1st to August 31st and on luncheon meeting days, which are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month. 2. Each player shall register as a nine or an eighteen hole contestant upon paying association dues, and will be allowed to change' to the other division only once during the year. 3. Sign starting schedule for tee off time and pairings, in advance of Wednesday. Tee off time 8:00 to approxi- mately 9 - 30 A.M. 4. Register with Hostess and pay entry fee before starting tournament piay each ',ad! -,is day. �L 5. Two score cards must be Kept in each foursome, twosome or threesome. Both cards signed, attested, and dated must be returned iMmediatelly followinig Play to the Golf ChaIrman of the day. 6. A niinimurn of eight player 6 having CoYllplerea a weekly tournament shall constitute an official 'iour- nament. 7. All tournaments are played according to U�&G.A rules. Any local rules adopted are posted on your score card. When the Winter Rule is used, you may improve your lie within your own fairway only (using. club head). You may improve your distance 6 inches and no nearer the hole. All putts to be holed out. Make Your Ladies Day a Habit. C0,11SUlt Your Bulletbi Board. t GOLF ETIQUETTE ON THE TEF: BE PROMPT ! Be on the first tee and ready to play when your starting time comes up. HOLD IT! No player should tee off until all members of the party ahead are out of range, nor should they play up to a green until the players in front have holed out and moved on. ALONG THE FAIRWAY THINK OF THE NEXT GUY! Divots taken when making a shot should be replaced at once and pressed down firmly. NOW HEAR THIS! Slow or inexperienced players should invite f aster .� players to play through. r TOUGH LUCK! When a ball is lost, players following should be invited to play through without undue delay. DON'T CHANGE YOUR MIND! Once a signal to play through has been given, play roust not be resumed until the following party has played through. i AT THE GREEN SMOOTH IT OUT! Players should carefully rake or otherwise smooth any foot prints or depressions made in the sand traps. PROTECT YOUR GREENS ! Ball marks should be repaired by each .player, when he comes up to the green. QUIET, PLEASE AND GET OUT OF MY LINE! Utmost care should be observed by all 'players "to avoid distracting the person putting on the green — either by position, movement or sound. DON'T TRY IT OVER! As soon as. putts have been holed out move quickly off the green. Mark your score on your card after you have left the green. DON `T DILLY-DALLY ! Be ready on the next tee when it is your turn -to drive and the players ahead are out of range.
