. Residents of Old Port Cove, a
condominium complex on U.S. 1 in
North Palm Beach, are planning a
special baby shower Tuesday to
benefit Connor's Nursery, an ad-
junct of The Children's Place in
West Palm Beach. Residents (men
are welcome, too!) are asked to
bring baby clothing, sheets, baby
blankets and other items. Wine and
cheese will be served.
Tillie Gardner, who coordinat-
ed plans for the shower, said that
on May 3 the residents will tour
The Children's Place. Connor's
Nursery, she said, was named for a
young man who died of AIDS and
was created to provide beds and
loving care for children afflicted
With AIDS.
