The "Obert Room" was officialy The Oberts, were commended for their
dedicated in the North Palm Beach extensive work in the North Palm Beach
Library Oct. 19 in honor of Thelma community. The Oberts helped establish

-A resolution by councilwoman. Judy
Pierman to honor Thelma Obert for her
service to the North Palm Beach Library
by renaming the main meeting room after
her on the 20th anniversary of the
original, broundbreaking of the library was
passed. The Village expressed its debt to
her service through being one of the
library's founders and continuing
supporters.
