NPB Branch (Florivision) Fall 1987Foundation's Circle of Friends Keeps On Growing
The Friends of the Foundation, a
diverse group of individuals commit-
ted to advancing opportunities for
women in education, have taken a
leadership role in providing financial
resources for the AAUW Educational
Foundation. Their support enables
the Foundation to continue its high
quality programs and to explore neve
avenues that V!ill advance education,
research and self development for
women.
This year, 82 individuals joined the
Friends of the Foundation, a 32 per-
cent increase over last year. Con-
tributing over $200,000 to EFP, the
Friends are leaders in promoting in-
dividual giving to the Foundation.
The Foundation extends its great

for Foundation Night to celebrate the
achievements of the Foundation. A
special VIP reception, sponsored by
the AAUW and Educational Founda-
tion Boards of Directors, was held iti
Houston for this year's Friends. This
year, the Friends will join with the
Foundation to celebrate the 100th
Anniversary of the AAUW Fellowship
Program. They will be the Founda-
tion's guests at the Centennial Gala
Event that will be held in
Washington, DC, next June, where
they will receive special recognition
for their ongoing leadership.
