Theater Music Club Gals Hully-GullyCl U b,
ENERGETIC YOUNG WO-
MEN, members of the
North Palm Beach branch
of the American Associa-
tion of University Women,
started the North Palm
Beach Public Library and
are determined to make it
the best around these here
parts.... even if they have
to do the hully gully to
bring it about!
And that's just what they
did last Saturday night at
a "Fun Niglio: ' at the North
Palm Beach Country Club,
where some one hundred
and seventy friends and
neighbors danced under the
stars, did the hully gully
and other dances, swam
to their hearts' content,
witnessed a diving exhibi-
tion by Candy Dotson and
Debbie Tomberg and cap-
ped the evening with a del-
ectable buffet supper. . . .
all to raise funds for their
pet project.
"We are," said Mrs.
William Abbott, chairman
of the festivities, "deter-
mined to have a fine lib-
rary to service all of our
North County communities.
Assisting Mrs. Abbott
were Mrs. Donald Dahl-
berg, Mrs. Lowell Van
Duzee, Mrs. Robert Win-
ship, Mrs. Lewis Emer-
son, Mrs. Fred Kelleher
and Mrs. William Shick.
Mrs. Herbert Gildan is
president of the branch, one
of the most active in all
sorts of civic affairs.
