Special Exception Application - Gregory & Virginia Keller - 2750 Omega Placeo, VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH ORDER ON SPECIAL EXCEPTION APPLICATION Applicant: Gregory and Virginia Keller Property Location: 2750 Omega Place, North Palm Beach, FL 33408 ("Property") Legal Description: Lot 8, Omega Court, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 37, Page 131 of the public records of Palm Beach County, Florida (PCN: 68-43-42-08-08-000-0080) Request: Special Exception from Section 18-35(3) of the Village Code of Ordinances to store a boat less than five (5) feet from the rear property line. THIS MATTER came before the Village Council for public hearing on December 12, 2019. After considering the testimony and other evidence presented by the Applicant, Village Staff, members of the public and other interested persons during the course of a quasi-judicial proceeding, the Village Council, having considered the recommendation of the Planning Commission and otherwise being duly advised, hereby makes the following findings of fact: 1. The public hearing was properly noticed in accordance with Section 21-3 of the Village Code of Ordinances. 2. Applicant's request meets the requirements for special exception approval set forth in Section 18-35(13) of the Village Code of Ordinances. Based on the foregoing findings of fact, it is ORDERED and ADJUDGED by the Village Council that Applicant's request for a special exception from Section 18-35(3) of the Village Code of Ordinances to allow for the storage of a boat less than five (5) feet from the rear property line is hereby APPROVED subject to the following conditions: 1. The storage of the boat shall be in conformance with the submitted plans. 2. Any boat stored on the Property shall meet all applicable screening requirements as required by Section 18-35 of the Village Code of Ordinances.
