RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, INCORPORATING AMENDMENTS TO THE CHARTER OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH ADOPTED BY A MAJORITY OF THE ELECTORS VOTING IN A REFERENDUM
UPON SUCH AMENDMENT AT THE LAST VILLAGE ELECTION AND DIRECTING THE VILLAGE
' CLERK TO FILE THE REVISED CHARTER WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE OF THE
STATE OF FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Village Council submitted to the electors of the
Village of North Palm Beach proposed amendments to the Village Charter, and
W}{EREAS, at the Village election on March 16, 1976, a majority
of the electors of the Village of North Palm Beach voting in a referendum
upon such amendment, voted in favor of amending the Charter of the Village
of North Palm Beach in Articles III through VI, both inclusive, and
WHEREAS, the results of said election were duly canvassed and
published, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 166.031, Florida Statutes, the
' Village Council is required to incorporate said amendment into the Village
C}iarter and to file the revised Charter with the Department of State;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The amendment to the Charter of the Village of
North Palm Beach voted on in referendum and passed by a majority of the
electors of the Village of North Palm Beach on March 16, 1976, are hereby
incorporated into the Charter of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 2. The revised Charter of the Village of North Palm
Beach as designated in Section 1 of this Resolution shall be filed by
the Village Clerk with the Department of State of the State of Florida
forthwith.
' Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
