A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, DESIGNATING FIRST AMERICAN BANK OF NORTH PAIM BEACH AS A
DEPOSITORY OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PAIM BEACH AND SETTING FORTH THE
0}'FICERS AND AGENTS OF THE VILLAGE WHO ARE AUTHORIZED TO DEPOSIT AND
' WITHDRAW FUNDS FRQN SAID BANK.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH APIM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. First American Bank of North Palm Beach, herein-
after referred to as "Bank", be and the same is hereby designated as a
depository of the Village of North Palm Beach, a municipal corporation
organized under the laws of the State of Florida, and the officers and
officials of this municipal corporation be, and hereby are, and each of
thorn hereby is, authorized to deposit any of the funds of this municipal
corporation in said bank either at its main office or any of its branches.
Section 2, Until further order of the Village Council of the
Village of North Palm Beach, all checks, notes, drafts, bills of ex-
change,aycceptances, undertakings or other instruments or orders for the
payment of money, whether drawn against the First American Bank of North
Palm Beach or any other bank, may be cashed, deposited, or negotiated,
and all funds of this municipal corporation shall be subject to with-
drawal or charge at arty time and from time to time upon checks, notes,
drafts, bills of exchange, acceptances, undertakings, or other instruments
or orders for payment of money when made, signed, drawn, accepted or
endorsed on behalf of this corporation by the persons set forth on
Resolution No. 8-76, a copy of which resolution is attached to this
Resolution and by reference made a part hereof,
Section 3. The Bank is hereby authorized to pay any such
' instriunent or make any such charge and also to receive the same from the
payee or any other holder without inquiry as to the circumstances of
issue or the disposition of the proceeds, even if drawn to the individual
order of any signing person, or payable to said bank or others for his
account, or tendered in payment of his individual obligation, and whether
drawn against an account in the name of this municipal corporation or
in the name of any officer or agent of this municipal corporation as such.
Section 4. The Village Clerk be, and hereby is, authorized to
certify to the Bank the name of the Mayor and Treasurer of this municipal
' corporation and other persons authorized to sign for it, together with
specimens of their signatures, and in case of any change of any holder
of any such office or holders of any such offices, the fact of such change
and the names of any new officers and the offices respectively held by
them, together with specimens of their signatures, the Bank be, and it
hereby is, authorized to honor any instruments signed by the officials
of the municipal corporation as set forth on Resolution No. 8-76, a
copy of which is attached to this Resolution and by reference made a part
hereof.
Section 5. The Bank shall be promptly notified in writing
by the Village Clerk of any change in these resolutions, such notice
to be given to the office of the Bank in which any account of this
' municipal corporation may be maintained, and until it has actually
received such notice in writing, it is authorized to act in pursuance
of these resolutions, and until it actually so receives such notice,
i.t shall be indemnified and saved harmless from any loss suffered or
liability incurred by it in continuing to act in pursuance of these
resolutions, even though these resolutions may have been changed.
Section 6. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
