A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, SUPPORTING THE EXPANSION OF THE PALM BEACH GARDENS COMMUNITY
}[OSPITAL FROM 105 BEDS TO 240 BEDS, TOGETHER WITH THE ADDITION OF
EMERGENCY ROOM FACILITIES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of North Palm Beach strongly
supports and. endorses the expansion of the Palm Beach Gardens Community
Hospital from 105 beds to 240 beds as a needed addition to health care
and medical services for residents of North Palm Beach and. other areas
primarily served. by that hospital.
Section 2. The Village Council especially urges the approval
of the proposed. facilities for emergency room services which are sorely
needed. in the North Palm Beach, Lake Park, Palm Beach Gardens and en-
virons area.
Section 3. The rise in population, the increase in traffic,
the increased need. for competent and complete hospital facilities and.
the general health and welfare of the persons primarily served by the
Palm Beach Gardens Community Hospital all recommend. approval of the hospital
expansion plan by appropriate governmental agencies.
Section 4. The Village Clerk is directed. to forward a copy
of this Resolution to the Palrrt Beach Gardens Community Hospital and other
interested parties.
Section 5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
