A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEAC}{,

FLORIDA, APPROVING THE FOLLOWING IMPROVEMENTS: PROJECT J - FEDERAL
}IIG}IWAY AND NORTHLAKE BOULEVARD AND SAMPLING STATION FOR SIGNAL SYSTEM
TO INTERCONNECTION ON U. S. 1 TO RIVIERA BEACH; PROJECT B - NORTHLAKE
BOULEVARD AND PROSPERITY FARMS ROAD, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
PROPER VILLAGE OFFICIALS TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY AND PROPER TO IM-
PLEMENT THIS RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, the Village Council approves the improvement at the
following locations:
Project J - Federal and Northlake
Sampling Station for Signal System to inter-
connection on U. S. 1 to Riviera Beach
Project B - Northlake Boulevard and. Prosperity Farms Road

as a project budgeted in the TOPICS (Traffic Operations Programs to increase
Capacity and Safety) program, and the funding as agreed for this improve-
ment and. depending upon the actual construction cost and being as follows:

WHF,RF.AS, the Federal Highway Administration has approved the
project,
NOW, T}{EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
' Section 1. That the Village approves the proposed improvement
and. urges the completion of the project at the earliest possible date.
Section 2. That the Village has and will continue its traffic
engineering unit capable of assuring proper maintenance and operation of
the proposed construction lying within the Village limits.
Section 3. That regulations necessary for the operation of the
network plans will be maintained.
Section 4. That it is understood that any of the previously
mentioned improvements could be deleted due to unforeseen difficulties
without affecting the other improvements or this Resolution.
Section 5. That the proper officials of the Village be, and they
are hereby, authorized and. empowered to do all things necessary and proper
to carry out and make effective the provisions of this Resolution.
Section G. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to forward five
copies of this Resolution, one with manual signatures and four certified
copies, to the State Department of Transportation.
