A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2018-52
TO INCREASE THE BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER ISSUED TO
PRECISION LANDSCAPE OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, INC. FOR TREE
REMOVAL AND TREE TRIMMING SERVICES PERFORMED IN CONNECTION
WITH THE GOLF COURSE RENOVATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Resolution No. 2018-52, the Village Council approved a
blanket purchase order with Precision in the amount of $25,000 to perform tree removal and tree
trimming services as part of the Country Club golf course renovation (this was in addition to the
$25,000 previously authorized through the adoption of No. 2018-44); and
WHEREAS, the work performed by Precision during Fiscal Year 2018 on the golf course exceeded
the amount of the blanket purchase order by $3,350 and the Village Council wishes to amend
Resolution No. 2018-52 to reflect this increased amount; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution, including the
waiver of any purchasing policies and procedures applicable to this purchase, is in the best interests
of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby amends Resolution No. 2018-52 to increase the total
amount of the blanket purchase order issued to Precision Landscape Company of Palm Beach
County, Inc. for tree trimming and tree removal work performed in connection with the Country
Club Golf Course renovation by $3,350 (for a total of $28,350), with funds expended from
Account No. L8045-35222 (Golf Course Maintenance — Trees and Sod).
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective retroactive to September 30, 2018.
