A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
% NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING PAYMENT TO THE
IMAGE NETWORK, INC. D/B/A DOVER, KOHL AND PARTNERS FOR
ADDITIONAL CONSULTING AND DESIGN WORK PROVIDED FOR THE
FORMER TWIN CITY MALL SITE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Resolution No. 2017-110, the Village Council approved a
Contract with The Image Network, Inc. d/b/a Dover, Kohl and Partners ("Dover Kohl") to
prepare a form -based land development code to implement the Citizens' Master Plan Report; and
WHEREAS, the Contract provided hourly rates for additional services outside the scope of the
Contract; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the terms of the Contract, the Village Manager, in coordination
with the Town of Lake Park, requested that Dover Kohl perform additional work to develop a
design concept for the overall redevelopment of the Twin City Mall site and for use in reviewing
a development application to extend the existing commercial shopping center within the
Northlake Promenade Planned Unit Development, which required joint review by both
Lake Park and the Village; and
WHEREAS, while the Village will invoice the Town for one-half of the cost of such services,
Village Staff is seeking approval of a payment in the amount of $15,798.10 to Dover Kohl for
such additional services; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Village's purchasing policies, all purchases in excess of $10,000
require Village Council approval, and the Village Council determines that the adoption of this
Resolution is in the best interests of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves payment to The Image Network, Inc. d/b/a
Dover, Kohl and Partners, for additional design consulting work previously performed for the
former Twin City Mall site at a cost of $15,798.10, with funds expended from Account No.
A5206-33190 (Community Development/Planning — Professional Services).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect retroactive to September 30, 2018.
