A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORT}{ PALM BEAC}[,
PLORTllA, ADVISING THE PALM BEACH COUNTY COMMISSION AND ALL OTHERS
]NVOhVED WITH SECURING OCEANFRONT LAND FOR PUBLIC BEACHES THAT THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH STRONGLY SUPPORTS THE LOCATION OF A
PUBLIC BEAC}[ WIT}[IN T}[E CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH.
BE IT RF,SOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BI;ACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council hereby declares that it
is in favor of acquiring oceanfront lands lying within the municipal
limits of the Village of North Palm Beach for public beach purposes
by Palm Beach County, the State of Florida or other public bodies
concerned.
Section 2. The Village of North Palm Beach has determined
1 that any loss in tax revenue by virtue of transferring private
land to public ownership would be more than offset by the advantages
to the public of having ocean beaches for use by the public located
within the corporate limits of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 3. The Village Clerk is directed to submit
copies of this resolution to the Palm Beach County Commission
and to any boards and commissions created by it or by the State of
Florida concerned with the acquisition of private lands for public
beaches in Palm Beach County.
