A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING A BLANKET PURCHASE
ORDER WITH MONTGOMERY SERVICES, INC. D/B/A MAMMOTH
RESTORATION OF THE PALM BEACHES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$25,000 FOR MOLD REMEDIATION AND REMOVAL SERVICES AT THE
PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village's Purchasing Policies and Procedures authorize the use of blanket purchase
orders for materials purchased over a certain period of time not to exceed a single fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, blanket purchase orders in excess of $10,000 require approval by the Village Council; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration secured the services of Montgomery Services, Inc. d/b/a
Mammoth Restoration of the Palm Beaches for mold remediation and removal at the Public Safety
Building utilizing the purchasing policies and procedures applicable to emergency purchases and
is recommending approval of a blanket purchase order for $25,000 to complete such services; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the issuance of a blanket purchase order in the
amount of $25,000 with Montgomery Services, Inc. d/b/a Mammoth Restoration of the Palm Beaches
for mold remediation and removal services at the Public Safety Building, with funds expended
from Account Number A5519-33491 (Facility Maintenance Expenses - Contractual Services).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
